Kim Browning
Executive Vice President

Kim Browning joined Cognisight in 2011 as the Executive Vice President. Kim is part of the senior management team and is responsible for all aspects of Cognisight.

Kim is a native Western New Yorker and spent several years in the Tri-State area where her career in healthcare began. Kim has held several major leadership functions in her 20+ year tenure with Blue Cross Blue Shield of NJ and Excellus Blue Cross Blue Shield. Kim was also a Regional City Manager for People Express Airlines and was responsible for many of its innovative programs and services. In 2009, under Kim's leadership, Excellus earned the US News & World Report's #1 ranking in NY State and tied for a #2 ranking nationally for Medicaid Managed Care Plans. She has served as a consultant for health plan billing and reconciliation controls, as well as both Medicare Advantage and Medicaid turnarounds.

She was awarded Business Student of the Year from State University College @ Buffalo and has earned several post graduate certifications.

She is a graduate of Leadership Rochester (2004) and serves her community by guest lecturing at Rochester Institute of Technology, State University College @ Geneseo and the Project Management Institute.
