As Executive Vice President of Cognisight™, Ms. Gaffney is responsible for operations and product development. She has more than 20 years of experience in the business and technology aspects of health care, including software development, sales and marketing, finance, strategic planning, and management.
Ms. Gaffney possesses particular expertise in the fields of health care policy, medical billing, coding and electronic medical records. She has held positions with health care providers and health care technology firms throughout the northeast, including Rightfield Solutions (now Emmi Solutions), Finger Lakes Blue Cross and Blue Shield, and Fusion Productions, where she was director of business development for healthcare technology.
Ms. Gaffney has provided technology and business consulting services to several leading medical associations and served as technology consultant to the Physicians Foundation for HealthCare Quality and the Physicians Foundation for HealthCare Excellence.
