As Executive Vice President at Cognisight, Kim is responsible for corporate operations, compliance and product development. She has more than 20 years’ experience in health care business and technology, including software development, sales and marketing, strategic planning and management.

Kim’s particular expertise lies in health care operations and P&L accountability of Medicare and Medicaid lines of businesses. She has held leadership positions with health care plans and developed proprietary software solutions in the risk adjustment arena. Under Kim’s leadership, Excellus BCBS was ranked #1 in New York state and tied for #2 in the nation by US News & World Report in 2009 for Medicaid contractors.

Kim is a graduate of SUNY Buffalo where she received her BS in both Business Studies and Business Administration. She also holds several post graduate certifications, including: Certified Project Management Professional, Certified Healthcare Consultant, and most recently, Certified Healthcare Reform Specialist.

As President & Chief Executive Officer of Cognisight and GRIPA, Joe is responsible for providing the strategic insight necessary for Cognisight to maintain its leadership position in the risk adjustment market. He is an accomplished physician who possesses a unique combination of healthcare and business expertise.

Joe is a practicing physician who is Board Certified in Psychiatry with a subspecialty in Geriatric Psychiatry. He has held several hospital and administrative appointments including Chief of the Behavioral Health Network, Director of Psychiatry and Mental Health Services, Chief Psychiatrist for Geriatric Psychiatry, and Director of Acute Psychiatric Services.

Completing his undergraduate studies at Yale University, Joe received his Doctorate of Medicine degree from the State University of New York at Buffalo and a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from the University of Pittsburgh. Following a residency in Psychiatry at the University Health Center of Pittsburgh, Joe completed a Fellowship in Geriatric Psychiatry at Johns Hopkins Hospital.

As Chief Medical Officer at Cognisight and GRIPA, Mark is responsible for the Provider Relations, Care Management Services, and Provider Credentialing departments. His daily involvement includes medical practice and hospital management, strategic development and implementation, and quality improvement.

Mark’s expertise includes military and private practices. He is an accomplished family physician executive who has managed groups in hospital, community, state, and national organizations.

Earning his Bachelors of Science, Mark is a graduate of Michigan State University and received his Doctor of Osteopathy degree from the College of Osteopathic Medicine and Surgery. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians and is certified by the American Board of Family Medicine.

With over 25 years' experience in business, Bill is the Chief Operating & Financial Officer for Cognisight and GRIPA. As part of the senior management team, he is responsible for the operations of both companies.

Bill's particular expertise lies in the health care and service industries where he has an impressive record of increasing profitability and efficiency. Adept at using data and productivity metrics to develop new and enhance existing processes, he is accredited with leading the organization to be a more profitable operating company with standardized internal reporting and regular external client reporting.

As a Certified Public Accountant, Bill received his graduate degree from the Simon School of Business at the University of Rochester and an undergraduate degree from the University of Notre Dame. He is an Executive Board Member of the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation and is a recipient of the Rochester Business Journal “40 Under 40” award.

With over 25 years' experience Jamie has held a broad range of roles—from engineer to software developer, to project manager, to team director. As Chief Information Officer, he is responsible for managing all aspects of IT operations for both Cognisight and GRIPA.

Jamie's skills were honed as an IT consultant serving multiple clients in various industries. Because of his extensive experience at all organization levels, he has a solid understanding of what it takes to design, develop, and implement effective technical solutions.

Jamie holds a Bachelors of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Kettering University. His continued education includes certified training for project management professional, software development, and data warehousing. He is also a recent fellowship program graduate of Northstar Network's Healthcare Business Academy.

With more than 15 years' experience in the health care industry, Matt is Cognisight's Chief Analytic Architect. He oversees data operations to ensure the highest quality data for inputs and outputs of the analytic system and for the validity of meaningful internal and external reports.

Matt has worked at Cognisight since the company's inception and lead the development of its' proprietary analytic system. He regularly monitors and manages model and formula changes and conducts client-specific financial impact modeling. Matt also helps drive Cognisight's competitive edge by ensuring the analytics are contemporary, robust, and give maximum value to our clients.

Receiving his BA in mathematics, Matt is a graduate of Hartwick College. Through the years, he has worked with clinical research institutes, multiple hospital systems, and many health insurance organizations.

As Vice President of Business Development, Vince has over 15 years’ experience in healthcare working with companies from early stages to Fortune 1000 and responsibilities in market analysis, growth opportunities, strategic planning, innovation, and marketing activity. At Cognisight, he is charged with growing the organization’s book of business, synchronizing new business development efforts with the evolution of the marketplace and frequent regulatory changes, and overseeing the day-to-day activities of Cognisight’s marketing initiatives.

Vince’s expertise lies in building long term relationships with clients and their satisfaction and success. Having worked in many facets of healthcare, he has a solid understanding of the industry along with strong business acumen.

At Cognisight, Jane is the Director of Account Management and has more than 25 years' of experience. She oversees all account management and administrative staff supporting risk adjustment chart reviews and is responsible for client invoicing and CMS client payment reconciliations.

Jane's expertise is in Medicare Advantage audit management, HCC risk management, business process improvement, and client support and provider relations. She works closely with the Chief Information Officer to coordinate data retrieval and timelines for completion of client chart reviews, customized reporting, and creation of RAPS files for submission to CMS.

Jane attended Monroe Community College where she pursued her Associates degree in accounting. She is a knowledge expert in all aspects of Cognisight and stays abreast of changes in HCC model and data enhancements.

As the Director of Operational Administration & PACE Account Management, Lynsie oversees Cognisight’s PACE Account Managers and all aspects of PACE client engagement (pre and post chart review), in addition to managing her own book of PACE clients. Her responsibilities also include leading, organizing, and directing activities for the Clinical Administrator, Chart Fee Administrator, and Scheduling Team. Furthermore, she spearheads Cognisight's continuous operational improvement process.

Lynsie has a deep understanding of the PACE environment and remains current with the market and its’ emerging regulatory impacts by regularly attending National PACE Association conferences and forums. She also has the unique ability to leverage our own hospital system's PACE program whenever necessary.

In addition to obtaining her BA in Business Administration from SUNY Geneseo, Lynsie has completed several post graduate courses and an internship at ElderONE to gain a rich operational understanding of PACE program workings.

With more than 20 years’ experience in coding, coding management, and healthcare compliance, Carole is Cognisight’s Director of Clinical & Coding Review. In addition to mentoring and coaching her peers, she is responsible for managing all aspects of the department.

Carole’s particular expertise lies in data quality auditing/analysis and detecting errors in coding and how they subsequently impact reimbursements. While staying abreast of industry rules and regulations, Carole also provides clinical documentation improvement education to providers.

Receiving a degree in Health Information Technology, Carole is a graduate of Monroe Community College. Her credentials also include Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT), Certified in Risk Adjustment Coding (CRC), and AHIMA approved ICD-10-CM/PCS trainer.
